On the evening of March 18, 2022, in the "Lielais Dzintars" concert hall, the awarding ceremony for the winners of the title "Honorary and Liepājnieks of the Year 2022" took place.
The author and creator of the "Atmodas Dārzs" idea, Madars Markuss-Narvils, won the title of "Liepājnieks of the Year 2022" at the solemn award ceremony for his responsible and professional work, creating the cultural place "Atmodas Dārzs" and promoting the development of the Karosta cultural environment.
Liepaja culture of the year award '22
On February 23, 2023, the winners of the "Liepāja Culture Award 2022" were announced at the "Lielais Dzintars" concert hall in Liepāja. Out of 29 applicants, the creation of the new cultural center "Atmodas Dārzs" in Karosta was recognized as one of the most noticeable and significant events of Liepāja's cultural life in 2022!
Latvian construction of the year
At the final ceremony of the annual competition "Latvian Construction of the Year", the entertainment canopy of "Atmodas Dārzs" was awarded in the nomination "Wooden construction".
The competition "Latvian Construction Year Award 2022" is organized by the association "Building Design and Construction Council". The competition takes place every year, gathering together the architectural and engineering objects commissioned in the previous year.
IN THE SHOW "TE!" STORIES OF OPENNESS
On October 26, 2022, the Latvian program "TE!" in the final episode of the season, they visited Liepāja, where together with the artist Ivonna Kalita and the presenter Māri, they called it an open city. "THE MOST CULTIVATED BUILDING 2022"
On September 16, 2022, the "Atmodas Dārzs" cultural center and its owner, Madars Markus - Narvils, were awarded in the "Enterprise" nomination in the "Cultivated building" annual contest organized by the municipality. As every year, the owners of the cleaned houses were presented with a special appreciation plaque attached to the wall of the building with the year number in the colors of the city flag, thanks from the chairman of the Liepāja State City Council, as well as the Liepaja city flag.
